On behalf of Nàutic Tarragona S.A., the Construction Project for the new marina in the Port of Tarragona and the “Functional and structural optimisation of the new Tarragona Marina” was carried out. The main objective was to improve the conditions of the mouth, as well as redefining the structural section of the shelter dock in order to allow the construction of storerooms without reducing the width of the road.

Since Roman times, and with more than 2,000 years of activity, Port de Tarragona has been the axis and engine of the city’s fishing, commercial and industrial tradition.
To accommodate recreational boating, this marina was built, which is attached to the outside of the east quay of the industrial port. It can accommodate boats of up to twenty metres in length. Just a few metres from the marina is the Reial Club Nàutic de Tarragona, which boasts state-of-the-art facilities.
The marina of Tarragona is a quality facility for recreational boats. Its technical characteristics are: 6m draught at the mouth, 400 moorings (from 6 to 20m), jetties with security access, water and electricity points (230-440-v) and 240 parking spaces.
In addition to the service for boats, it has a commercial area of 7,000 m2, divided into several premises overlooking the sea from the marina.
