The ZAL Port is the logistics platform of the Port of Barcelona. Its objective is to generate maritime traffic with logistics infrastructure services with added value to the goods. A true logistic HUB and economic engine of the city.

The port of Barcelona concentrates the largest logistics offer in the Iberian Peninsula and leads the container traffic of the Mediterranean. It is the gateway to the south of Europe for goods coming from the Far East and Southeast Asia, covering the entire Mediterranean arc: Southern Europe (Spain, France, Portugal) and North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia). It is considered the point of link with the American continent. Its door by the sea is located the terminal BEST.
El Prat International Airport. ZAL Port is adjacent to El Prat International Airport (2 km away). It has an Air Cargo Center in constant growth that houses logistic companies specialized in air cargo.
Within a radius of 7 km around the ZAL Port there are three freight railway stations, and in the future it will have its own multimodal railway station.
The ZAL Port is equipped with an optical fibre cabling infrastructure that facilitates the transmission of voice and data between the installed companies and with the outside, with telecommunications masts from where several telecommunications operators offer their services.
In this logistic area, several industrial buildings were projected, up to 10 in a first phase, of different dimensions and uses.
